Nina Hagen Short biography
Nina Hagen is a German singer, songwriter, and actress, known for her theatrical vocals. She rose to prominence during the punk and Neue Deutsche Welle movements in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Hagen is considered the "Godmother of German Punk" and has been active in the music industry for over four decades, releasing 15 studio albums.
Hagen has also appeared in several films, including Cha-Cha (1979), Lilien in der Bank (1996), 7 Dwarves – Men Alone in the Wood (2004), and Gutterdämmerung (2016).
