Dave Bautista is an American actor, former professional wrestler, mixed martial artist and bodybuilder. He is best known for his time in WWE, where he was a six-time world champion, having won the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice. He is also a two-time Royal Rumble winner. Bautista began his career in professional wrestling in 2000, after training at the Wild Samoan Training Center. He made his WWE debut in 2002, and quickly became one of the most popular wrestlers in the company. He won his first world championship, the World Heavyweight Championship, in 2005. He held the title for a record-breaking 282 days. Bautista also won the WWE Championship twice, in 2009 and 2010. He left WWE in 2010 to pursue a career in acting. Bautista has starred in a number of films, including Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Spectre (2015), and Blade Runner 2049 (2017). He has also appeared in television shows such as Smallville (2006-2007) and Chuck (2010-2011).
