Jean-Pascal Tricoire Short biography
Jean-Pascal Tricoire is a French business executive who has been the Chairman and CEO of Schneider Electric since 2013. He is known for his work in promoting sustainability and gender equality in the corporate world.
Tricoire was born in France in 1963. He began his career in the business world in 1985, working at Alcatel, Schlumberger, and Saint-Gobain. In 1986, he joined Merlin Gerin, which was later acquired by Schneider Electric. Tricoire has held various leadership positions at Schneider Electric, including Head of Schneider Electric's Global Strategic Accounts and Executive Vice President of the International Division.
Under Tricoire's leadership, Schneider Electric has become a global leader in the energy management and automation industry. The company has also made significant progress in reducing its environmental impact and promoting gender equality. Tricoire is a member of the UN Global Compact and the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum. He is also a UN HeForShe Corporate IMPACT champion.
