D.L. Hughley is an American actor, stand-up comedian, radio host, producer, and author. He is known for hosting BET's "ComicView" in the early 1990s and starring in the sitcom "The Hughleys." Hughley has also appeared in numerous films and television shows, including "Scary Movie 3," "Inspector Gadget," and "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air." He is also the author of four books, including "I Want You to Shut the F#ck Up: How the Audacity of Dopes is Ruining America" and “Black Man, White House: An Oral History of the Obama Years.”
