Emilia Clarke is an English actress best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO fantasy series Game of Thrones. Born in London, England, Clarke began her acting career in 2009. She has since starred in several films, including Terminator Genisys, Me Before You, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
In addition to her acting work, Clarke is also a vocal advocate for several charities, including the American Brain Foundation and the Alzheimer's Society. She is also a patron of the charity SameYou, which supports young people who have suffered from strokes or brain injuries.
