Julia Garner Short biography
Julia Garner is an American actress born on February 1, 1994, in the Bronx, New York. Her mother, Tamar Gingold, is a therapist and former comedic actress from Israel, while her father, Thomas Garner, is a painter and art teacher from Ohio. Garner grew up in Riverdale, a neighborhood in the Bronx. She began taking acting classes at age 14 to help overcome her shyness. In 2015, she earned a degree in psychology from Indiana University. She is married to musician Mark Foster, the frontman of the band Foster the People.
