Catherine Zeta-Jones is a Welsh actress, producer, and model born on September 25, 1969, in Swansea, Wales. She began her stage career as a child, performing in West End productions of musicals like Annie and Bugsy Malone. After leaving school at 15 to pursue acting, she attended the Arts Educational Schools in London. She gained early recognition in the British television series The Darling Buds of May before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in Hollywood.
