David Corenswet Short biography
David Corenswet is an American actor, writer, director, and producer. He gained prominence for his roles in Ryan Murphy's Netflix series "The Politician" (2019–2020) and "Hollywood" (2020). His film credits include "Affairs of State" (2018), "The Sunlit Night" (2019), "Look Both Ways" (2022), and "Pearl" (2022), as well as the miniseries "We Own This City" (2022). Corenswet created and starred in the web series "Moe & Jerryweather" (2014–2018), and he also wrote and directed for the show. In 2023, he was cast as Superman / Clark Kent in the DC Universe film "Superman" (2025). Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he is a graduate of the Juilliard School and the grandson of "Choose Your Own Adventure" book creator Edward Packard.
