Josh Brolin is an American actor born on February 12, 1968, in Santa Monica, California. He first gained recognition for his role as Brandon Walsh in the 1985 film "The Goonies." His career saw a resurgence in the mid-2000s, with notable roles in films like "No Country for Old Men" (2007), "American Gangster" (2007), and his critically acclaimed portrayal of President George W. Bush in "W." (2008). He received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his role in "Milk" (2008). Brolin is widely known for his performances as Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe ("Guardians of the Galaxy", "Avengers: Infinity War", "Avengers: Endgame") and as Cable in "Deadpool 2."
