Luis Guzmán Short biography
Luis Guzmán (born August 28, 1956) is a Puerto Rican actor born in Cayey, Puerto Rico, and raised in New York City. He began his career as a social worker before becoming heavily involved in street theatre and independent films. With a career spanning over 40 years, he is known for his roles in films by Paul Thomas Anderson (Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch-Drunk Love) and Steven Soderbergh (Out of Sight, The Limey, Traffic). On television, he starred in Oz, Narcos, Code Black, and Wednesday. He also voiced Ricardo Diaz in the video game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and has appeared as a commentator on VH1.
