Billie Paul Piper (born Leian Paul Piper on September 22, 1982) is an English actress and former singer from Swindon, Wiltshire. Her parents, Mandy Kent and Paul Piper, legally changed her first name to Billie in April 1983. Piper began taking dance classes at age five and attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London on a scholarship. She has three siblings.
