Naomi Ackie Short biography
Naomi Sarah Ackie (born August 22, 1991) is an English actress. Raised in Walthamstow, London, she is the daughter of second-generation immigrants from Grenada. Her father was a Transport for London employee, and her mother worked for the National Health Service. She developed an early interest in acting and attended the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2012.
