Owen Cooper Short biography
Owen Patrick Cooper (born December 5, 2009) is an English actor from Warrington, England. He gained global recognition for his debut professional role portraying Jamie Miller in the 2025 Netflix miniseries Adolescence. Cooper originally aspired to be a professional footballer, playing for the Warrington Rylands U15 squad. He shifted his focus to acting after being inspired by actor Tom Holland's performance in the film The Impossible (2012), subsequently joining weekly acting classes at The Drama Mob in Manchester. His success came as a surprise, as he had no prior professional acting experience before being cast in his breakout role.
