Hannah Einbinder Short biography
Hannah Einbinder is an American comedian and actress. The daughter of Laraine Newman, she began her career in stand-up comedy, gaining recognition at festivals like Just for Laughs. She made her national television debut on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" in 2020. Her breakout role came in 2021 as Ava Daniels in the HBO Max series "Hacks," for which she received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, winning an Emmy in 2025 for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series. She also appeared in the film "North Hollywood" and as a guest judge on "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars." Einbinder is openly bisexual and earned a BFA in television writing and production from Chapman University.
