James Remar is an accomplished American actor recognized for his versatility in film and television. His notable film credits include 'The Warriors,' '48 Hrs.,' 'The Cotton Club,' 'Quiet Cool,' 'Django Unchained,' and 'Oppenheimer,' in which he portrayed U.S. Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson. On television, he is best known for his roles as Richard Wright in 'Sex and the City,' Harry Morgan in 'Dexter,' and Peter Gambi in 'Black Lightning.' Remar has also lent his voice to various animated series and Lexus car commercials. He began his career on stage before making his film debut in 1979. Born on New Year's Eve, 1953, in Boston, Massachusetts, he is married to Atsuko and has two children.
