François Arnaud Short biography
François Arnaud is a Canadian actor born in Montreal, Quebec, in July 1985. He changed his birth name, Francois Barbeau, to avoid confusion with a theater and costume creator of the same name. He is fluent in French, English, and Spanish. As a boy, he attended Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal, where he learned to sing and play the piano. Arnaud later trained at the Conservatoire d'art dramatique in Montreal, graduating in 2007. He is best known for his role as Cesare Borgia in the Showtime television series The Borgias. He also played Antonin in the popular French-Canadian film J'ai tué ma mère (I Killed My Mother), which earned him a VFCC award for Best Supporting Actor in a Canadian Film. He also played Théo in the TV series Yamaska.
