Larry David Short biography
Larry David is an American actor, comedian, writer, producer, and director. He is best known for co-creating the sitcom Seinfeld and creating and starring in the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm.
David was born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 2, 1947. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in the late 1970s. In 1984, he was hired to write for Saturday Night Live, but he only lasted one season. In 1989, he co-created Seinfeld with Jerry Seinfeld. The show was a huge success, running for nine seasons and winning numerous awards, including 10 Primetime Emmy Awards.
After Seinfeld ended in 1998, David created Curb Your Enthusiasm. The show is a semi-improvised comedy series that follows David as a fictionalized version of himself. Curb Your Enthusiasm has been praised for its sharp writing and cringe comedy. It has won numerous awards, including two Primetime Emmy Awards.
David is also a successful actor. He has appeared in films such as New York Stories, Whatever Works, and The Three Stooges. He has also had recurring roles on the TV shows Saturday Night Live and Arrested Development.
