David Tepper Short biography
David Tepper is an American businessman, hedge fund manager, sports team owner and philanthropist with a net worth of US$16.0 billion as of March 2024. He is the founder and president of the hedge fund Appaloosa Management, and the owner of the Carolina Panthers of the NFL and Charlotte FC of the MLS. Tepper is known for his aggressive investment style and his philanthropy, particularly his donations to his alma maters, Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh.
