Liu Wen Short biography
Liu Wen is a Chinese fashion model and one of the most successful models of all time. Born in Yongzhou, Hunan, China, in 1988, Liu began her modeling career in 2005 after entering the New Silk Road World Modeling Contest. Despite not winning the contest, she quickly caught the attention of fashion agencies and began booking high-profile modeling jobs.
Liu's career gained international recognition when she was invited to walk at Paris Fashion Week. Since then, she has appeared in the Chinese editions of Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, walked the runway for top designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel, and Hermes, and featured in ad campaigns for brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, and Hugo Boss.
Liu holds the distinction of being the first Asian supermodel and the first East Asian model to walk for Victoria's Secret. She is also the first Asian model to make Forbes' Highest Paid Models list.
