Charlotte Rampling Short biography
Charlotte Rampling is an English actress and musician who has starred in over 100 films and television shows. She is known for her work in both English and French cinema, and has won numerous awards for her performances, including the César Award for Best Actress and the European Film Award for Best Actress. Rampling was born in Sturmer, Essex, England, in 1946. She began her career as a model before transitioning to acting in the mid-1960s. She has since starred in a wide range of films, including Georgy Girl (1966), The Night Porter (1974), Farewell, My Lovely (1975), Stardust Memories (1980), The Verdict (1982), Swimming Pool (2003), and 45 Years (2015). Rampling has also appeared in a number of television shows, including Dexter (2013) and Broadchurch (2015).
