Amy Madigan Short biography
Amy Marie Madigan is an American actress born on September 11, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois. She is the daughter of Dolores Madigan, an administrative assistant and community theatre actress, and John J. Madigan, a journalist for Newsweek and a political commentator. She has two brothers, Jack and Jim. Madigan attended Marquette University, where she earned a B.A. in philosophy in 1972. She is married to actor Ed Harris, and they have one daughter.
