He gained widespread recognition for portraying Superman in the DC Extended Universe, starting with 'Man of Steel' in 2013, and as Geralt of Rivia in Netflix's 'The Witcher' from 2019 to 2023. His career began in 2001 with 'Laguna' and includes notable roles in 'The Tudors', 'The Man from U.N.C.L.E.', 'Mission: Impossible – Fallout', and as Sherlock Holmes in the 'Enola Holmes' film series. Cavill is also known for his passion for gaming, particularly 'World of Warcraft' and 'Warhammer 40,000', and is a spokesperson for the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and an ambassador for The Royal Marines Charity.
