Kaitlin Olson is an American actress, producer, and comedian widely recognized for her role as Deandra "Sweet Dee" Reynolds on the long-running FX comedy series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," which premiered in 2005. Born on August 18, 1975, in Portland, Oregon, she spent her early years in Washington and Oregon before attending the University of Oregon, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in theater arts in 1997. Following her graduation, Olson moved to Los Angeles and joined The Groundlings improvisational group. Her career started with guest appearances on various TV shows like "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and minor film roles. Beyond "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," she starred as the lead in the Fox sitcom "The Mick" from 2017 to 2018, also serving as an executive producer.
