Charles Dance OBE is a distinguished English actor. He is renowned for over 150 acting credits, including prominent roles in films like "Alien 3" (1992), "Gosford Park" (2001), "The Imitation Game" (2014), and "Mank" (2020), as well as miniseries such as "The Jewel in the Crown" (1984) and "Bleak House" (2005). Dance gained significant international recognition for his portrayal of Tywin Lannister in HBO's "Game of Thrones" (2011-2015) and Lord Mountbatten in the Netflix series "The Crown" (2019-2020). He also wrote, directed, and produced the 2004 film "Ladies in Lavender" and has a prolific stage career, notably with the Royal Shakespeare Company. In 2006, Charles Dance was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire.
