Auliʻi Cravalho (born November 22, 2000, as Chloe Auliʻi Cravalho) is an American actress and singer. She was born in Kohala, Hawaiʻi, and is of Chinese, Native Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Portuguese, and Irish descent. She was raised in Mililani, Hawaiʻi, primarily by her mother. When she was cast in her breakout role, she was a freshman in high school and a soprano in the glee club at Kamehameha Schools' Kapālama campus. She has publicly identified as bisexual since April 2020. She has stated she was accepted into Columbia University to study environmental science but deferred her entrance to focus on her acting career. Cravalho has used her platform to advocate for issues such as diversity in Hollywood and climate change.
