Oona Chaplin is a Spanish actress. The granddaughter of legendary silent film icon Charlie Chaplin and great-granddaughter of playwright Eugene O'Neill, she has carved out her own space in Hollywood. She gained wide recognition for her role as Talisa Maegyr on HBO's "Game of Thrones," and has also appeared in "The Hour," "The Crimson Field," "Taboo," "Black Mirror," and films such as "Quantum of Solace," "The Longest Ride," and "Avatar: The Way of Water." Born on June 4, 1986, in Madrid, Spain, she is the daughter of actress Geraldine Chaplin and Chilean cinematographer Patricio Castilla. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in 2007. Known for her multilingual abilities, she speaks Spanish, English, and French fluently.
