Uhuru Kenyatta Short biography
Uhuru Kenyatta (born in 1963) served as the fourth President of Kenya from 2013 to 2022 and he is also an oligarch. He hails from a prominent political family, being the son of Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya's first President. Uhuru himself has held various political positions throughout his career, including Member of Parliament, Minister of Local Government, and Deputy Prime Minister. His presidency was marked by significant infrastructure development, economic growth, and efforts to combat corruption. However, his tenure also faced challenges related to ethnic tensions, human rights concerns, and allegations of corruption.
