Pierce Brosnan Short biography
Pierce Brendan Brosnan (born May 16, 1953) is an Irish-American actor, film producer, and environmentalist. Born in Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland, he was raised by his maternal grandparents after his father abandoned the family and his mother moved to London for work. At the age of 11, he moved to London to be reunited with his mother and her new husband. As a teenager, he left school to pursue a career as a commercial illustrator. Still, he later found his passion for acting after attending a fire-eating workshop, which led him to train at the Drama Centre London.
