Paulo Fonseca Short biography
Paulo Fonseca is a Portuguese professional football manager and former player who played as a central defender. He is the current head coach of French Ligue 1 club Lille. He is known for his attacking style of play and his emphasis on dominating possession.
Fonseca began his coaching career in 2005, and has since managed several clubs in Portugal, Ukraine, Italy, and France. He has won numerous titles, including the Ukrainian Premier League three times with Shakhtar Donetsk and the Taça de Portugal with Braga.
