Dev Patel Short biography
Dev Patel is a British actor, director, and martial artist. He rose to fame for his role as Jamal Malik in the Oscar-winning film 'Slumdog Millionaire' (2008). Since then, he has starred in a diverse range of films, including 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' (2011), 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' (2015), 'Lion' (2016), 'The Green Knight' (2021), and 'The Personal History of David Copperfield' (2019). Patel has received critical acclaim for his performances and has been nominated for an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe Award.
