Piper Perabo is an American actress born on October 31, 1976, in Dallas, Texas. She gained widespread recognition for her breakthrough role as Violet Sanford in the 2000 film "Coyote Ugly." Perabo further solidified her career starring as CIA agent Annie Walker in the USA Network's spy drama "Covert Affairs" from 2010 to 2014, for which she received a Golden Globe nomination. Her filmography also includes "Cheaper by the Dozen," "The Prestige," "Looper," and "Angel Has Fallen." Beyond acting, Perabo is a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and women's political leadership, often participating in protests and promoting voter engagement. She is married to director Stephen Kay.
