Tyson Gay Short biography
Tyson Gay is a retired American track and field sprinter. He holds the American record for the 100m at 9.69 seconds, making him one of the fastest athletes ever. Gay won three gold medals at the 2007 Osaka World Championships (100m, 200m, and 4x100 relay). He is a four-time U.S. champion in the 100m and was named the 2007 IAAF World Athlete of the Year. He attended the University of Arkansas where he studied sociology and marketing.
